Actions

The Actions column is available on many dashboards and locations throughout the platform. Depending on where you are on the platform there may be one or more actions that will be available for you to perform on your numbers, test configurations, rolling tests or campaigns.

Batch Tests

Use batch tests to run a set of connection tests in quick succession to determine a number's connectivity rate.

Note: Batch tests can be performed from any place where you can see numbers that have the Batch Test icon highlighted in the Actions column. If the icon is not highlighted this means that running batch tests is not an option.
Tip: To perform batch testing on several numbers at once you can use Bulk Actions.

To perform a batch test, do the following:

  1. Use the search bar or the filters provided if necessary to search for the number you wish to batch test.
  2. Click the Batch Test Icon to reveal the test setup dialog box (the icon is located in the Actions column on the right of the table)
  3. Choose the amount of tests you would like to perform on the number followed by the amount of time (offset) you would like to pass between each test.

Note: Offset time is measured in minutes.
  4. You have completed the task.
Results: When the tests have been completed you will receive an email from alert@spearline containing the test results.

Redial a Number

The re-dial function is helpful for troubleshooting numbers in realtime and is available from the Actions column on all reporting dashboards. This includes the Voice Assure Realtime Reporting Table.

To re-dial a number, do the following:

  1. Use the search bar and filters provided to find the number you wish to dial.
  2. Click the Redial Icon for that number (this is located in the Actions column on the right of the table).
  3. Your task is complete.
Result: The Voice Assure Realtime softphone will appear in an overlay on the screen and the number will begin to dial.

Schedule

Schedule various tasks for automation.

Note: Scheduled automation is available anywhere where you can see the Schedule Icon.

Call Recordings

Download or Listen to any call recording once a call is complete.

Note:
  1. Before searching for a call recording you will need to have the Recording column added on the dashboard you are using in order to see the Speaker Icon. This is done using the Add/Remove Data Columns
  2. If you are using Voice Assure Realtime, the Speaker Icon will already be visible in the 'Actions' column.
  3. Call recordings are available for all test types apart from connection tests. Once a call is complete, the call recording is uploaded to the platform for playback or download at any time.

To download or listen to a call recording, do the following:

  1. Search the reporting table for the test call that you would like to hear the recording of.
  2. Click the Speaker Icon to listen to the recording (this can be located in the Recording column if you're viewing the Analytics Dashboard, or the Actions column if you're viewing within the Voice Assure Realtime module).
    Tip:
    1. Voice Assure Realtime: If the Speaker Icon is Grey it means that the recording has not uploaded yet. Wait a few minutes and check again. Tip: If the call state returns as 'Busy' a call recording may not be available.
    2. Voice Assure In-Country: If you're unable to see the 'Recording' column on your dashboard please ensure that you have made the 'Recording' column visible in the Add/Remove columns section.
  3. Click the PlayVertical Ellipsis Iconon the right of the player to find the download option to save the file on your computer or laptop.
Results: Your call recording will open up in a new tab where you can listen and scrub through the recording or download it if needed.

Bulk Actions

Bulk actions are the most efficient way to perform the same action on several numbers at one time as opposed to completing the same action multiple times.
Note: Bulk actions can only be performed from within the Numbers module.

You can perform a bulk action to complete tasks like:

  • Delete multiple numbers at the same time.
  • Batch test multiple numbers at the same time.
  • Snooze alerts on multiple numbers at the same time.

To use a bulk action, do the following:

  1. Click the checkbox next to each number(s) that you want to apply the action to (If you would like to select every number on the page, click on the checkbox in the header of the column).

  2. After selecting the number(s) you will notice several actions appear above the number table. Choose the action you wish to perform and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your task.

  3. Your task is now complete.
