Telecom operators can implement restrictions in certain countries for various reasons. This can affect Spearline customers from time to time when trying to dial numbers in-country. Spearline lists known restrictions that you can view at any time. If you see the call description ‘Restricted number format’ added to your automated tests, it is for this reason.
Known restrictions are shown in the resources section
Current known restrictions are listed in the resources section of the platform. By clicking the ‘Resources‘ tab towards the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu, you can search and view any restrictions in the ‘Known Restrictions’ column. If the column is empty, this means there are no restrictions.
